About ILO Hampton Park

ILO Hampton Park Early Education Centre provides high quality education and care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. ILO Hampton Park recognises that every child is unique and supports individuals’ holistic growth with the world- renowned concepts of Finnish Early Education together with other elements. “ILO” means joy in Finnish; we believe that joy is vital to children’s learning journey and we look forward to sharing the happiness with your child and your family.

Room Categories

We divide children into rooms by their age in order to meet individual needs:

Nursery
Toddlers & Pre-kindergarten
Kindergarten

Operating Hours

We operate from 6:30am to 6:30pm from Monday to Friday every week, except on public holidays.

OUR TEAM

Jessica Lee

Hello everyone, my name is Jessica Lee. I am excited to be the Acting Centre Director & Educational Leader at ILO Hampton Park Early Learning Centre. I have been dedicated to education since 2000 when I was a high school student. With teaching experience as a piano tutor for all ages, a secondary school teacher in Hong Kong, and an early childhood teacher in Australia, these teaching experiences have equipped me well, solidly and holistically, to step up and lead the centre.

I am passionate about education, as I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with children, no matter where I am working. I am wholeheartedly engaged in building bonds and relationships with the children, as I believe that a strong bond between teachers and children is critical to their learning and development. When children feel secure, they can confidently acquire knowledge in any play scenario.

I also value the uniqueness of every child, which is based on differences in their family background, cultures, and individual characteristics. To enrich our children’s learning experience, I value open communication with parents and families, as family involvement in our curriculum is vital. As the socio-cultural theories mention, to gain a holistic view of the children and sustain quality education, educators have to consider the influences and variables from different families, cultures, and communities.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you in person and sharing more about our beliefs and values in education at ILO Hampton Park. 😊
